Lightweight Design

The Airium is a lightweight pavement scooter that offers both Lithium battery technology and a lightweight Aluminium chassis. This design makes it the lightest pavement scooter in the UK market.

Despite its light weight, the Airium is built to handle weighty loads with ease. It can carry up to 21 stone, which is an impressive weight limit for a scooter of its size. Additionally, its Lithium battery technology provides a range of up to 25 miles, making it a reliable choice for long journeys.

Lithium Battery

Lithium battery technology has several advantages over lead-acid batteries, making it a popular choice for modern scooters. First, Lithium batteries are lighter and more compact than lead-acid batteries, making them ideal for use in lightweight pavement scooters. Second, Lithium batteries can store more energy than lead-acid batteries, providing longer ranges and better performance. Third, Lithium batteries have a longer lifespan than lead-acid batteries, requiring less maintenance and replacement. Finally, Lithium batteries are more environmentally friendly than lead-acid batteries, as they contain fewer toxic materials and are more easily recyclable. For all these reasons, Lithium battery technology is a superior choice for modern pavement scooters like the Airium.

High Weight Capacity

The Airium is designed to offer the size, comfort, and performance of a pavement scooter while maintaining a weight similar to that of a much smaller car boot scooter. It achieves this balance by using high-quality materials, including a lightweight Aluminium chassis and Lithium battery technology.

One of the standout features of the Airium is its high weight capacity of 21 stone. This weight limit is particularly impressive given the scooter's light weight. The Airium can carry a heavier load than many other pavement scooters on the market.

The Airium is also easy to transport, as it can be disassembled into four pieces. The heaviest piece weighs just 13kg, making it easy to lift and move around.

Built for Comfort

The Airium is designed to be comfortable, even on long journeys. It features a powerful 250w motor that provides ample power for cruising along pavement paths. The large 9” wheels with super soft tyre compound provide excellent traction and smoothness even on rough surfaces.

The Airium also boasts a larger padded seat and delta handlebar that provide extra comfort to the rider. The delta handlebar is particularly useful for those with limited mobility, as it allows for a more natural grip and a more comfortable riding position.

All-Round Solution

Overall, the Airium is one of the best all-round solutions available for long journeys and traveling. It offers a lightweight design, high weight capacity, and a range of up to 25 miles. Additionally, it is built for comfort, with a powerful motor, large wheels, and a comfortable seat and handlebar.

The Airium is an excellent choice for those who value versatility and practicality. Whether you need a pavement scooter for daily errands or long journeys, the Airium is an excellent choice that won't disappoint.

What warranty does the scooter with?

1. What’s covered

For 12 months from when you bought it, we’ll fix or replace anything that breaks because it was made wrong—not because it wore out, was damaged, or wasn’t looked after.

2. Free home callouts

If something covered by the warranty goes wrong while your
scooter is in Mainland England, Scotland, or Wales, we’ll send an
engineer to your home for free—except for batteries (see next section).

3. Batteries – how their warranty works

Batteries have a return-to-base warranty only.

That means:

  • If you think your batteries are faulty, you send them to our head office.
  • We’ll test them in our workshop.
  • If they fail because of a manufacturing fault, we’ll send you
    replacements for free.
  • If the problem is because they weren’t charged or maintained correctly, we
    will:
  1. Call you to explain what we found.
  2. Give you tips on how to fix or improve the batteries (if possible).
  3. If the batteries can’t be recovered, we’ll give you a price for new ones
and send them once payment is received.

4. What’s not covered by free callouts

Some problems are normal wear and tear or accidental damage,
so they aren’t covered by free visits. These include:

  • Things that wear out: bulbs, fuses, tyres, inner tubes, brake pads
  • Punctures
  • Batteries (see section 3)
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
  • Routine servicing or adjustments

We can still come out for these, but we’ll charge our standard callout and repair rates.

5. London visits

If you’re in Greater London, any home visit has a £40 surcharge, even for warranty repairs. This covers parking,
congestion/emission charges, and the extra travel time London traffic causes.
