Summary:
Premier Rise Recliner Chair
The power adjustable headrest adjusts the position of your head, neck, and shoulders for maximum support. The power adjustable lumbar enables you to personalize your comfort. The footrest extension allows you to relax and stretch out completely. The USB remote adjusts all functions independently and allows you to charge your smart device. Complete with a safety power cut off switch and emergency single use battery backup. Left- or right-hand side pockets. For ease of movement these chairs are available with castors or glides. This mechanism has 4 individual motors
Find Your Comfort
The Dorchester is a dual motor lift chair with a power headrest and powered lumbar support, making it perfect for those who need that bit of extra support whether it be sitting down or standing up. It works as a medical aid in that it helps to evenly distribute body weight, reducing pressure sores that you might experience from prolonged use of a standard couch. The Dorchester really goes that extra step to ensure comfort but as well makes changing position as easy as possible via the handset that even has its very own holder/
Infinite Position Lift Chair
The Pride range of dual motor Lift Chairs operates the backrest and footrest separately, using a dual motor design. This means you can choose from infinite positions. The Dorchester allows you to switch between functions to reach an optimised comfort. What this means is it not only reclines, it also has a lift & tilt function.
Meticulously Designed
The Dorchester remote allows you to control the independent dual motors of your riser to find your perfect position. It also features a handy USB charging port and LED lights, which help to pinpoint your chosen position. The Dorchester is designed to flow with your posture, that's why the backrest isn't just cushioned, it's a lateral backrest, making it ergonomically hug your body and keep you positioned right in the centre of the chair.

“Excellent company. Best price I could find ,and easy ordering , then recieved on the day stated . The delivery driver who was very polite and knowledgeable, got it in to my garage and explained, the controls and put me wise driving it ,, battery charging and care. The Sterling S700 is really nice high quality comfortable scooter and looks to be a bargain after trying it out.A well satisfied customer. Thank you.”— Nodrog Awson
“I bought the Envoy 8, with 50 batteries. It arrived really fast, within 48hrs after purchase. It was really well packaged, I had mine ready to go on a pallet. It was as simple to roll if off the pallet, and off you go. I recommend the 50 batteries as they last so much longer. I took 4 trips to the shops and back before I lost one bar. Thank you so much GBM, no complaints just praise! I will be recommending your company.”— Suzanne Dray
Is it right for you?
The Dorchester Premier is the top of our recliner range, and it's made in Britain — with four motors where most chairs have one or two: backrest, footrest, powered headrest and powered lumbar support all adjust independently, so your head, neck, shoulders and lower back each get their own setting.
The LED handset doubles as a USB charger for your phone, the footrest extends so you can stretch out fully, and it comes in four sizes — Petite, Compact, Standard and Grande — so the chair genuinely fits your height rather than nearly fitting. It carries up to 25 stone in every size. It's made to order with a lead time of around 2 weeks — the wait is the price of a British-built chair made to your spec.
Questions people ask us
Single or dual motor — what is the difference?
Single motor moves the backrest and footrest together with one button — simple and effective. Dual motor lets you position each separately, which many people prefer for napping or watching TV.
How do I know it will fit me?
Check the seat height, width and depth in the specifications above — or call us free with your height and we'll recommend the right size.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 14 days to try it in your own living room. If it's not right, we'll exchange it or collect it for a refund.
