The Expedition Plus HD is the heavy-duty option — a reinforced aluminium transit chair with a dual cross brace, a roomier 20" seat, and a maximum capacity of 23.6 stone (150 kg) that most folding chairs can't approach.

Despite the strength it stays light at about 12.5 kg, with large 12" puncture-proof rear tyres that roll easily over rough pavement, attendant cable brakes at the handles, and a half-folding backrest for the car. Lap belt included; stepper tubes let the attendant mount kerbs safely.
