Is it right for you?
The AstroLite is astronomically light — the heaviest piece is under 10 kg, the whole scooter under 28 kg, and it dismantles and reassembles in seconds. The front impact bar doubles as a carry handle and the rear has its own grab handle, so lifting it into a boot is about as easy as it gets.
Despite the weight it has all-round suspension, a 360° swivel removable seat, flip-up armrests and an exceptionally tight 125 cm turning circle. Up to 6.8 miles on the standard battery — or up to 11.4 miles with the 17Ah option — and up to 18 stone. At 4 mph it's ready the day it arrives — no registration, no licence.

Will it fit in my car boot?
Yes — the AstroLite comes apart, and the heaviest single piece is 9.9 kg (about 27.6 Kg all together). Tell us your car over the phone and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits.
Do I need a licence or insurance?
The AstroLite does 4 MPH, so it's a Class 2 pavement scooter — no licence, no DVLA registration, and you can use it the day it arrives. Insurance isn't a legal requirement; we recommend it, and your first month is free with every scooter we sell.
Is it assembled when it arrives?
It arrives ready to go apart from clicking the battery in, typically within 2 working days. If you'd rather not do anything at all, our White Glove service fits the batteries and seat, inspects it and takes the packaging away.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 14 days to try it at home. If it's not right, we'll exchange it or collect it for a refund.
