Will it fit in my car boot?
The Royale Sport is a one-piece scooter weighing 165 Kg — it doesn't dismantle, so it's built to be driven and stored rather than lifted into a car. If you need something for the boot, call us free and we'll point you at the models that come apart.
Do I need a licence or insurance?
The Royale Sport does 8 MPH, which makes it a road-legal Class 3 scooter. There's no licence and no test, but it does need registering with the DVLA — a short free form we'll point you to. Insurance isn't a legal requirement; we recommend it, and your first month is free with every scooter we sell.
Is it assembled when it arrives?
It arrives ready to go apart from clicking the battery in, typically within 2 working days. If you'd rather not do anything at all, our White Glove service fits the batteries and seat, inspects it and takes the packaging away — allow 7–14 days for that, as an engineer visit is booked in with you.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 14 days to try it at home. If it's not right, we'll exchange it or collect it for a refund.
