The lithium battery weighs just 1.64 kg and charges indoors off the scooter, and an optional second battery doubles the range to 18 miles. It carries up to 19 stone, and at 4 mph it's ready the day it arrives — no registration, no licence. Prefer not to fold it yourself? The K-Lite Folding Electric does it by remote.

Lithium Battery
The Kymco K-Lite FE has an ultra-lightweight lithium battery which weighs only 1.64kg, making it very easy to manage. You can also purchase an additional battery which can be stored under the seat to double your range to over 18 miles. You can also charge the battery indoors by simply removing it from the scooter and taking just the lightweight battery indoors to charge.

Will it fit in my car boot?
The K-Lite Folding Manual is a one-piece scooter weighing 22 Kg — it doesn't dismantle, so it's built to be driven and stored rather than lifted into a car. If you need something for the boot, call us free and we'll point you at the models that come apart.
Do I need a licence or insurance?
The K-Lite Folding Manual does 4 MPH, so it's a Class 2 pavement scooter — no licence, no DVLA registration, and you can use it the day it arrives. Insurance isn't a legal requirement; we recommend it, and your first month is free with every scooter we sell.
Is it assembled when it arrives?
It arrives ready to go apart from clicking the battery in, typically within 2 working days. If you'd rather not do anything at all, our White Glove service fits the batteries and seat, inspects it and takes the packaging away.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 14 days to try it at home. If it's not right, we'll exchange it or collect it for a refund.
