Also, with powerful LED lights on the front and rear ensure you are visible on your travels, allowing you to move in confidence and safety. The ergonomic floor panel design also provides maximum legroom compared to other mobility scooters in its class. A maximum range of 19-miles* makes the Sterling Sapphire 2 a capable scooter, fully equipped to deal with your everyday needs.

Disassembling your Sapphire 2 mobility scooter is easy…

Designed for simple disassembly without the hassle of cables or plugs, the one-touch Sterling lock separates both halves of the mobility scooter for easy portability and storage. Just lift off the seat, lift out the batteries, and lift the rear STERLING lock handle to separate the front and rear of the mobility scooter. It is that simple! By the way, it goes back together just as smoothly!

.. and provides a portable mobility scooter solution.

The Sterling Sapphire 2 can be easy to load on to a vehicle and can be taken abroad. This is thanks to its super lightweight folding design. Lifting and handling the batteries and rear drive unit is safe and comfortable with the fitted STERLING lift dual handles. Plus, the tiller can be safely folded down to provide a tight, portable mobility scooter package.

Delta handlebar

Comfort is important when you are on the move. An uncomfortable journey can put you off using your mobility scooter, but the Sterling Sapphire 2 has your comfort in mind and will ensure every journey you make is comfortable. The ergonomically designed delta handlebar on the Sterling Sapphire 2 allows you to rest your wrists whilst driving and reducing the need to stretch to reach the handles, giving you more stability and confidence.

Extended range

With its large batteries, the Sterling Sapphire 2 mobility scooter can take you up to 19-miles* (30km). This is an incredible range especially for a portable scooter, as usually portability means sacrificing some range in an effort to make the scooter lightweight The Sterling Sapphire 2 gives you portability and power with the heaviest part once disassembled weighing just 22.5kg.

Always Be Seen on Your Sapphire 2 Mobility Scooter

Super bright, low energy and long life LED lights ensures you're always seen and the road ahead is always well lit. Allowing you to travel in confidence and safety, the LED lights on the Sterling Sapphire 2 allow you to relax more when you're on the move.

What warranty does the scooter with?

1. What’s covered

For 12 months from when you bought it, we’ll fix or replace anything that breaks because it was made wrong—not because it wore out, was damaged, or wasn’t looked after.

2. Free home callouts

If something covered by the warranty goes wrong while your
scooter is in Mainland England, Scotland, or Wales, we’ll send an
engineer to your home for free—except for batteries (see next section).

3. Batteries – how their warranty works

Batteries have a return-to-base warranty only.

That means:

  • If you think your batteries are faulty, you send them to our head office.
  • We’ll test them in our workshop.
  • If they fail because of a manufacturing fault, we’ll send you
    replacements for free.
  • If the problem is because they weren’t charged or maintained correctly, we
    will:
  1. Call you to explain what we found.
  2. Give you tips on how to fix or improve the batteries (if possible).
  3. If the batteries can’t be recovered, we’ll give you a price for new ones
and send them once payment is received.

4. What’s not covered by free callouts

Some problems are normal wear and tear or accidental damage,
so they aren’t covered by free visits. These include:

  • Things that wear out: bulbs, fuses, tyres, inner tubes, brake pads
  • Punctures
  • Batteries (see section 3)
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
  • Routine servicing or adjustments

We can still come out for these, but we’ll charge our standard callout and repair rates.

5. London visits

If you’re in Greater London, any home visit has a £40 surcharge, even for warranty repairs. This covers parking,
congestion/emission charges, and the extra travel time London traffic causes.
