“Excellent company. Best price I could find ,and easy ordering , then recieved on the day stated . The delivery driver who was very polite and knowledgeable, got it in to my garage and explained, the controls and put me wise driving it ,, battery charging and care. The Sterling S700 is really nice high quality comfortable scooter and looks to be a bargain after trying it out.A well satisfied customer. Thank you.”— Nodrog Awson
“I bought the Envoy 8, with 50 batteries. It arrived really fast, within 48hrs after purchase. It was really well packaged, I had mine ready to go on a pallet. It was as simple to roll if off the pallet, and off you go. I recommend the 50 batteries as they last so much longer. I took 4 trips to the shops and back before I lost one bar. Thank you so much GBM, no complaints just praise! I will be recommending your company.”— Suzanne Dray
Is it right for you?
This is the 20" wide, self-propelled XS Aluminium chair in red — quick-release 24" rear wheels let you push yourself, and they pop off in seconds to bring the frame down to under 9 kg for the boot.
Comfort comes as standard: deluxe cushions, a padded tension-adjustable backrest, flip-up desk-style armrests, and anti-tip stepper tubes for kerbs. It carries up to 18 stone on the roomier 20" seat. Mostly pushed by a companion? The transit version is simpler and lighter still.
Questions people ask us
Self-propelled or transit — which do I need?
Self-propelled chairs have large rear wheels you push yourself; transit chairs are lighter, with small rear wheels, designed for a companion to push. If you'll do both, self-propelled usually makes sense.
Will it fit in the boot?
Our wheelchairs fold flat. The 20" XS Aluminium Self Propel Wheelchair (Red) weighs 17 Kg, which is the figure that matters since someone will be lifting it in and out.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 14 days to try it at home. If it's not right, we'll exchange it or collect it for a refund.
